Build a team
Tell us the role, the country and how many people you need. We dispatch the request to FOUND Digital Officers who are verified and placement ready for that role. Start with a 10-day pro-bono trial scored daily on a five-point KPI scorecard, then convert the officers who average 80% or better onto a paid contract.
1. Tell us what you need
Role, location, headcount, trial or direct paid. Two minutes on the form below — same day dispatch.
2. We dispatch
Placement-ready officers whose verified record matches apply in one click. Most briefs draw applications within 24–72 hours.
3. Score and convert
Daily 1–5 scorecard over 10 working days, then hire the officers averaging 80% or better.
What the trial actually involves
The trial exists so you are judging work rather than an interview performance. You give the officer real tasks for ten working days and score them each day from 1 to 5 on five things. Nothing is owed to anyone if it does not work out.
Task completion
Did the work you assigned get finished, to the standard you set, within the day?
Communication
Clear written updates, questions asked early, no silence when something is blocked.
Reliability
Shows up in the hours agreed, in your timezone preference, without being chased.
Tooling and judgement
Uses Workspace, AI assistants and your own tools sensibly, and knows when to escalate.
Ownership
Improves the brief rather than only executing it — spots gaps and proposes fixes.
Cost, and who pays whom
The 10-day trial
Pro-bono. You pay nothing to evaluate an officer, and you owe nothing if you do not convert.
After you convert
You pay the officer directly on the terms you agree — hourly, monthly or per project. FOUND does not take a cut from the officer.
Programme-scale engagements
Cohorts, multi-country delivery or ongoing pipelines are scoped with you first. Email partners@foundafrica.tech.
Who you will be shortlisting
Every officer is identity-verified before they can be dispatched, and every skill on their profile is a record with an issuer and an issuance date — not a line on a CV. Ask for the level that matches the work.
Foundation
Verified core curriculum: Workspace, business communication, digital marketing foundations. Ready for support, admin, research and outreach work.
Specialist
Foundation plus a verified track — advertising, search visibility, content and storytelling, or applied AI. Can own a channel from a brief.
Placement-ready
Verified skills plus outcomes already logged: a completed placement, paid project or funded pitch on record with date and value.

Support and onboarding
- A named contact on the FOUND placement team for the duration of the brief
- Each officer arrives with an official work email on a domain we control
- A trial scorecard template so scoring is consistent across candidates
- Replacement dispatch at no cost if a trial does not work out
- Officers keep access to the curriculum and community while placed, so they keep levelling up
- Outcome logged against the officer's profile once you convert, which is how our public record stays honest
Hiring questions
- Do I have to run a trial?
- No. Choose a direct paid contract on the form and we will dispatch on that basis. Most first-time partners run the trial because it costs nothing and settles the question.
- What if the officer underperforms after I convert?
- The contract is between you and the officer, so you handle it as you would any hire. Tell us, and we will re-dispatch the brief so you are not starting from scratch.
- Can I hire more than one person from one brief?
- Yes — set the headcount on the form and the brief goes to enough matching officers to fill it. Teams are common for data, outreach and campaign work.
- Which countries and timezones can I hire from?
- Anywhere we have verified officers, with Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, Rwanda and South Africa the deepest pools. Set a timezone preference on the form and we will match on overlap with your hours.
- Is my brief public?
- It is shown only to officers whose verified record matches it. It is not published on the website.
- How do I check the skills you claim an officer has?
- Every credential is a record with an issuer and an issuance date. Ask any shortlisted officer for the issuer's verification page and check it yourself — that is the point of the record.
